It's Time To CHANGE the Conversation!

I've been giving a lot of thought to the notion that it is Time To Change The Conversation. If we keep on talking about the same things in the same ways, we will continue to get the same results. Different questions, different conversations, and shifts in our mindset are the only way we are going to breakthrough to the innovative solutions we need to tackle today's challenges.

Aimee Mullins, a women who had both legs amputated below the knee as an infant, changed the conversation around her disability 11 years ago at the TED Conference. She put a call out to "innovators outside the traditional medical prosthetics community to come bring their talent to the science and to the art of building legs." The innovations that ensued and her personal learnings are hugely inspirational. Check out Aimee Mullins' talk.
