Giving Back - Announcing Durham Dreams 2010 Project Launch

We are passionate about telling the stories of people who have had the courage to dream, and the commitment to bring their dreams to reality.

A diverse group of twelve people have been selected to be a part of the 2010 Durham Dreams initiative. Their dreams have transformed government, education, downtown development, health, arts and business in Durham.

Over the course of this year, we will capture and share these stories in hopes that it inspires others to dream. The year will culminate in an art exhibit showcasing Eleatta’s Dream Portraits. Paintings and prints will be sold, and a portion of the proceeds will go to fund a new dream in Durham.

Last night FutureWave partnered with local artist, Eleatta Diver to launch our 2010 Giving Back Initiative – Durham Dreams.

What an exciting evening, to be surrounded by some of the most creative, caring people in Durham who are dedicating their lives to making this city one of the best places to live in the country. Please welcome our 2010 Durham Dreamers!
